This online stopwatch counts up with centisecond precision and records lap times as you go. Each lap shows its split (the time since the previous lap) and the running total, and the fastest and slowest laps are highlighted automatically. It runs entirely in your browser — no install and no sign-up.
How to use
- Press Start to begin timing.
- Press Lap to record a split without stopping the clock.
- Use Stop and Resume to pause, or Reset to clear everything.
How it works
The stopwatch records the moment it starts and compares it to the current time, so it stays accurate even if the screen refresh isn't perfectly even. When you tap Lap it stores the elapsed total; each lap's split is the difference from the previous one. The fastest and slowest splits are found by comparing all laps, and times are shown as minutes, seconds and centiseconds.

FAQ
- What is a split time?
- The time of one lap on its own — the gap between when you pressed Lap and the previous lap.
- How accurate is it?
- It compares timestamps rather than counting ticks, so it stays accurate to about a centisecond.
- Does it keep timing if I switch tabs?
- Yes. Because it measures real elapsed time, the total stays correct when you return.
- Can I copy my laps?
- Yes. Use the copy button to put the lap table on your clipboard.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The stopwatch runs entirely in your browser and nothing leaves your device.
