Pull specific pages out of a PDF and save them as a new file — for example pages 1-3, 5 and 8-10. It is perfect for keeping just the part you need. Everything runs in your browser using a local PDF engine, so your document is never uploaded.
How to use
- Choose a PDF from your device; the page count is shown once it loads.
- Enter the pages or ranges you want, like 1-3, 5, 8-10.
- Click extract to download a new PDF containing only those pages.
How it works
Your page selection is parsed into a list of page numbers, then a local PDF library copies exactly those pages into a brand-new document in the order of the file. The original PDF is left untouched, and because it all happens in the browser, nothing leaves your device.
Features
Flexible ranges
Mix single pages and ranges in one go, like 2, 5-7, 10.
Multiple selections
Pick as many pages as you like; duplicates are removed automatically.
Keeps order
Extracted pages stay in their original document order for a clean result.
Loads on demand
The PDF engine is only loaded when you pick a file, keeping the page fast.
Fully local
Your PDF is read and split in your browser and is never uploaded anywhere.
When to use it
Keep one chapter
Extract just the chapter or section you need from a long document.
Separate a page
Pull out a single signature or cover page to send on its own.
Break up a large PDF
Split an oversized PDF into smaller files that are easier to share.
Tidy submissions
Remove unwanted pages before submitting forms or reports.
Notes
- Everything happens on your device; your PDF is never uploaded.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked before they can be split.
- Very large files may take a moment and are limited to 100 MB.
- The original PDF is not modified; a new file is downloaded.
FAQ
- How do I write the page range?
- Use commas for separate pages and a dash for ranges, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10. Leaving it empty keeps all pages.
- Can I extract several ranges at once?
- Yes. Combine as many pages and ranges as you like; the tool removes duplicates and keeps them in order.
- What about password-protected PDFs?
- Encrypted PDFs cannot be read directly. Remove the password first, then split the unlocked file.
- Is my PDF uploaded?
- No. The PDF is processed entirely in your browser using a local engine and never leaves your device.
- Will the page order change?
- No. Extracted pages keep the same order they had in the original document.
