Four common percentage calculations in one place. Find what a percentage of a number is, what percent one number is of another, the value after an increase or decrease, or the percent change between two numbers. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
How to use
- Pick the type of calculation with the tabs.
- Enter the two numbers.
- Read the answer and copy it.
Percentage basics
A percentage is a part out of 100. To take X% of a number you multiply by X/100. To increase or decrease by X% you multiply by (1 + X/100) or (1 − X/100). The percent change between two values is the difference divided by the original, times 100.

Notes & tips

- For increases and decreases, the percentage always refers to the starting value.
- All calculations run on your device — nothing is sent to a server.
